On January 12, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published Amendment No. 166 establishing MRLs from Proposal P1027 – Managing Low-level Ag & Vet Chemicals without MRLs.

These MRLs are part of a framework for establishing All other foods except animal commodities MRLs to address the presence of low level inadvertent agvet chemical residues and food commodities.

The amended MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on January 13, 2017.
